this original pigeon bird painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hook for immediate wall display.  this textural, mixed media painting is done on a birch wood block. i like to occasionally use birch wood art panels for their lightweight durability.

what makes this special: materials include vintage doily, vintage postage stamp, vintage paper, and handwritten letters from the 1800s.  inspired by the exceptional pigeons I come upon in city life.  they're so personable and intelligent!

size is approximately 4" in width, and 4" in height. the painting is about 1.5" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together.

a great addition to an urban space.  a wonderful gift for a city dweller, birder, pigeon fan, or all-around nature lover.
