part of a new series of collage paintings depicting peaceful places, this original peach green rose gold bird on branch collage painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hanging hook for immediate wall display. this textural, mixed media painting is done on a wood panel.

materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. sides are layered brick and soft melon. materials include a mixed media painting on vellum set on a handwritten letter from the 1800s, vintage paper, contemporary paper, rose gold leaf, and antique book lining pages from the 1800s.

size is approximately 5" in width, and 7" in height. the painting is about 1.5" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
