this original winter trees at dawn mixed media painting on wood in gold antique swivel wood frame is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. the painting is done on a handcarved birch wood panel set in an antique (most likely 1920's) gold swivel wood frame. both the painting and the frame have a lot of nice texture. the frame has nice details of wear and patina due to age.

this winter forest scene objet d'art is considered a single piece-i carved the birch wood panel and created the painting for this particular frame. back of the painting has contemporary paper. materials also include gold leaf, vintage postage and antique handwritten letter scraps from the 1800's. the front and back of the painting has been sealed for handling, though due to the age and fragility of the art piece, i recommend handling with care.

size is approximately 4.5" in width and 8" in height. about 1.75" in depth (at base). all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
