angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o'er the plains...

this original little sweet singing angel with halo painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hook for immediate wall display. this textural, mixed media painting is done on birch wood. i occasionally use birch wood art panels for their lightweight durability.

materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. sides of this painting are layered antique rose and prussian blue (which has a subtle deep purple tint). materials include antique handwritten letter from the 1800's, vintage postal stamps, vintage paper, and gold leaf.

size is approximately 5" in width, and 7" in height. the painting is about .75" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
