part of a new series of collage paintings depicting peaceful places, this original soft flowers collage floral landscape art is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hanging hook for immediate wall display. this textural, mixed media painting is done on a wood panel.

materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. sides are soft lilac. materials include images on antique cotton fabric that has been painted using inks and colored pencils, then stitched with antique sewing thread. additional materials are contemporary paper, handwritten letter from the 1800s, gold leaf and vintage postage, and antique book lining pages from the 1800s.

size is approximately 4" in width, and 6" in height. the painting is about .75" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
