this original little chickadee bird painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. a hook has been added for immediate wall display. this mixed media painting is done on a piece of vintage cotton from the mid-1900s. the handcrafted frame is from US-based Maker, Rustic & Refined.

the painting size is 4x4", and can be readily removed from the frame. the frame has a nice distressed style. the peg that allows the framed art to sit on a flat surface can be removed for wall display. frame is made out of wood in an antique white tone. overall size of the piece (with frame) is 5.75x5.75". depth is .75".

materials include handwritten letters from the 1800s, vintage sewing thread, hand-dyed sashiko thread, antique paper, vintage postage and a tiny piece of handmade vintage lace. artwork can be easily re-framed, however i recommend always framing the art under glass. please display the painting in indirect light to protect the art.
