this original i wish you love flying bird painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hook for immediate wall display. this mixed media, textural work is done on a birch wood block. i occasionally use birch wood for its lightweight durability.

the materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. sides of the painting are layered sky blue, ocean blue and white. materials include gold leaf, antique letters, vintage paper and postage stamps. the painting has a nice vintage tone with lots of texture.

size is approximately 5" in width and 5" in height. about .75" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
