this original painting of a miniature barn owl is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. this textural, mixed media painting is done on a piece of hand carved birch wood and is framed in a beautiful, mid-1900s, vintage, ornate taupe and gold Florentine-style wood frame from Spain. the little frame comes with a gold easel, also made of wood.

materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. materials include handwritten antique letters from the 1800's, vintage postage stamp and gold leaf.

size is approximately 2" in width and 2.5" in height. the painting is about .5" in depth. the easel is 6" tall and 3.5" wide.

all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together! the painting can easily be removed through the back of the frame. the painting has been signed on the back.
