this original little hummingbird painting is created on antique cotton fabric set on handmade watercolor paper in a metal and glass frame handcrafted by Common Goods. delicate and brightly colored, this hummingbird is inspired by Anna's Hummingbirds, which I've enjoyed watching in New Mexico.

what makes this art special: in addition to the handcrafted scallop-design metal and glass frame, and the handmade watercolor paper, materials include early-1900s cotton, handwritten letters from the 1800s, vintage postage stamps, vintage paper, and book lining from the 1800s. I also added a piece of handcrafted velvet ribbon for extra sweetness.

the painting size is approximately 2.5x3.5", and can be readily removed from the frame. the frame is a nice vintage style. frame is made out of gold metal. the painting is displayed between two glass panels, with a gold metal loop for wall display. simply use a nail or hook.

the artwork can be easily re-framed, however i recommend always framing the art under glass. please display the painting in indirect light to protect the art.
