this original barn owl landscape wood sculpture painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. this textural, mixed media painting is done on a piece of thick, reclaimed antique wood. this piece of pine has a nice shape and a lot of texture. the first side features a barn owl. the left-hand side features the natural, beautiful texture of the wood. the back showcases a painting of trees on canvas and the right-hand side houses a painting of a tree branch on canvas. the painting can be handled-with care-and there are multiple ways to display the artwork.

what makes this special: besides being a gorgeous antique block of wood, materials include canvas, vintage postage stamps, vintage paper, gold leaf, vintage sewing thread, book lining from the 1800s, and handwritten letters from the 1800s. the owl rests in a frame I hand carved. the tree paintings sit on the antique letters.
