another peaceful day at the beach!

this original plover bird with seashell wading in the ocean tide painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hook for immediate wall display. this mixed media painting is done on textured, handmade watercolor paper. the painting has been framed.

the materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. the painting size is 4x6", and can be readily removed from the frame. the frame has a nice beach home style. frame is made out of distressed wood in white and corrugated metal. the frame has glass.

painting materials include vintage postal stamps, natural-dyed sashiko thread, and antique handwritten letters from the 1800's on handmade watercolor paper.

overall size is approximately 6.5" in width, and 8.5" in height. the painting is about .5" in depth. artwork can be easily re-framed, however i recommend always framing the art under glass. please display the painting in indirect light to protect the art.
